Introduction

The Guru Parade
The internet has taught me two things: cats secretly run the algorithm, and everyone seems to be a guru. Open any feed, and it feels like you’ve stumbled into a never-ending parade. Here comes the “LinkedIn ninja” with his polished videos, the “Instagram prophet” with a perfectly curated life, and the “productivity wizard” who claims to wake up at 4 a.m. to read three books before sunrise. Each one waves from their float, tossing out catchy slogans like candy at a small-town festival.
At first, it’s entertaining. Who doesn’t love the spectacle of bright colors, bold fonts, and quick fixes wrapped in inspirational music? You lean in, thinking maybe this float has the secret. Maybe this guru has finally cracked the code on success, happiness, or leadership. But as the parade goes on, you start to notice something: the candy is just sugar. It looks sweet but leaves you empty.
